FAT VET is the latest generation of rumen bypasses fat powder produced by DNS Pacific. One of the greatest challenges for diary producers is to get cattle to consume sufficient amount of energy, especially during the early lactation period. Energy intake can be maximized by increasing the energy density of the diet. This is achieved by introducing fat into the total feed diet.
Fat has been shown to provide many benefits for dairy cows during lactation. The addition of fat not only helps cows to satisfy their energy needs, but also increases milk production, maintains body conditions and improves reproductive performance.
FAT VET rumen bypass fat is a white even granule providing high energy in dairy feed ingredient. Unlike other fat source, this unique product does not interfere with rumen fermentation and is highly digestible in the intestine. This product is used as a source of energy in ruminant feed. It is produced by refining and fractionating high quality oil palm. In our efforts to achieve a high C-16 content, we made an important innovative step forward. Redefined palm oil is split up into its various fatty acids by physical means. Without hardening, and therefore without trans fatty acids, we obtain a palm fatty acid rich in C-16 and blended with our modified lecithin which improve the digestion rate up to 96%.
Major Ingredients & Specification
FAT VET major ingredients are modified lecithin, refined palm oil & natural essential additives.
Crude Fat (%) | Moisture (%) | Iodine (%) | Color (%) | Metabolism Energy (kcal/kg) |

Typical Application
FAT VET is specially designed for ruminant inclusive cow, cattle, goat and sheep feed which required balanced blend of fatty acids.
Usage Recommendation
Appropriate dosage depends on the type of animal, the level of dietary energy, as well as the amount of milk and milk stage. In actual production, it is need to add fat nutrition and other management measures. Diet should be gradually changed within 2-3 weeks.
